Technology Service Providers

Various third parties offer participants technology services relating to the SWX Platform. The following service-provider categories can be distinguished:

• Network Connectivity Providers (NCPs) and FIX Connectivity Providers (FCPs)
  NCPs and FCPs offer participants technical connectivity to the Exchange system and a software solution for entering orders. NCPs and FCPs differ in the type of connectivity with the Exchange system that they offer. An NCP operates an SWX Trading System and is connected with the Trading System via gateways and the SWX wide area network. FCPs use the SWX FIX protocol and communicate via virtual private networks (VPNs).
• Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
  ISVs develop and offer alternative software solutions that allow participants to enter orders.
• TS Installation Services Providers (TSISPs)
  These service providers support participants in connection with the installation and operation of the SWX Trading System.
